Split, a UNESCO-listed city, is not just a palace, itliving museum under the open sky. The only place in the world where people live, work and celebrate inside the walls of the Roman imperial residence.

History is not dead here — you sleep in rooms built on the foundations of imperial apartments, drink coffee next to antique columns, and medieval bell towers grow straight out of pagan temples. This is the Mediterranean part of Croatia in all its glory.

I will take you on a journey through the labyrinth of Diocletian's Palace —UNESCO World Heritage SiteWhere your feet touch the same pavement as an emperor 1700 years ago. We will go through part of the mysterious cellars reminiscent of the scenery from Game of Thrones. You will see how the temple of Jupiter became a baptismal font, and the mausoleum of the emperor - a Catholic cathedral. We will go out to Riva, where with coffee in hand you will feel the atmosphere of Dalmatia — turquoise Adriatic, green Marjan and palm trees rustling in the wind...

During the guided tour “Split in Polish — in the footsteps of Diocletian” I will also tell you about Croatian customs, recommend the best beaches and tell you what to see in Split outside the old town.
